Senator Leibell has been named a 2008 "Eco-Star" by the New York League of Conservation Voters Education Fund, in honor of his efforts to protect the environment and our natural resources.
Marcia Bystryn, President of the NYLCVEF stated, that "Senator Vincent Leibell played a pivotal role in advancing an environmental agenda in Albany. We look forward to working with him and all our elected leaders on the many challenges ahead, particularly in the areas of energy planning and smart growth development."
